Eddie Sellars is a Special Education teacher and the Head Softball Coach at Timberland High School. He is a medically retired U.S. Army Infantry Officer (10 years of service). Coach Sellars holds both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree from Carson-Newman University and an Ed.S. from Trevecca Nazarene University. While playing football at Carson-Newman, he was part of two National Runner-Up teams and three Conference Championship teams. Originally from Nashville, TN, Coach Sellars has been coaching since 2013 and teaching since 2014, with prior assistant coaching roles in both football and softball at THS. He and his wife Kristi Welch Sellars reside in Macedonia and are the proud parents of four daughters: Addison, Blakely, Millie, and Mackenzie.
