Coach Greg Wright is in his 11th year as a head coach. He has coached in 3 state championships, 4 upper-state championships, and several region championships. His most recent state championship was as an assistant in 2018 at Dutch Fork High School where they were undefeated. Coach Wright has coached in the North South all-star game after also being a former player in the all-star game in 2001 after his playing career at Cross High School. He later became a 4-year letterman football player at the University of South Carolina.  After completing his college football career, he was hired as a graduate assistant under Steve Spurrier.  He also serves as the Class AA Lower state SCACA Board Director.  Wright has a beautiful wife Kayla Wright, son Xavier Wright, and two daughters Carlynn and Naomi Wright.
