October's Library Club was all about having fun with friends! Students colored, constructed structures, and played chess, checkers, Otrio, and Uno. Permission slips will be available on November 13th for the next gathering which will be held on Monday, November 20th.

The first session will be held virtually on October  18 at 6 p.m., and the second will be on November 1 at 4:30 p.m. at our main office in Moncks Corner. The library's Craft Corner gathering was a blast! Club participants made tea light globes, mason jar mummies, and book page ghosts. They also made cards for Mrs. Galati, our surprise guest, to deliver to Veterans. The next gathering will be held December 4th. See Mrs. Courtney or Mrs. Fisher for more information.

To better serve the physical and mental wellbeing of those who work for BCSD, the YMCA has partnered with the school district to provide free memberships to all BCSD employees. The Scholastic Book Fair will be open Thursday and Friday this week as well as all of next week. Regular hours are from 7:30-3:45 with one exception; the fair will close at 1:00 on Friday, September 29th. Students are welcome to shop before school, throughout the school day, and/or after school. Families may shop with students after school. Payment may be made in the form of cash, checks (made out to MMSOA), debit and credit cards, Apple Pay, and Scholastic eWallet. We can't wait to see you there!
