Happy Friday Eve! Let’s celebrate our Loggerhead Leader of the Day: Ms. Kelly Marone!
Ms. Marone brings sunshine to our school every day with her warm smile and can-do attitude. She's always ready to lend a helping hand and lift others up with her words of encouragement. Her belief in students and staff makes a lasting impact.


Due to the administration of the iReady for 3rd grade scheduled for May 20th, the 3rd grade Field Day activities will be Thursday, May 22 directly following the 3rd Grade Awards' Ceremony. The time will be from 9:30 a.m. unitl 11:30 a.m.


What better way to celebrate Tt day in the Kindergarten alphabet countdown than TURTLES!? Way to go little Loggerheads!



Lets introduce our Tuesday Loggerhead Leader of the Day- Tri Tran! We are so incredibly grateful for students like Tri! He shows up everyday ready to learn and grow!


In 2 WEEKS, we invite ALL CLS families to help us send off our 5th graders to middle school and 8th graders to high school with an unforgettable celebration the evening of Wednesday, May 28th!
Send-Off Parade:
Families of 5th and 8th grade students are invited to decorate their cars, golf carts, or other vehicles and ride in a celebratory parade, while the rest of the CLS community lines the K–2 Car Loop to cheer them on.
Family Movie Night – Courtyard Celebration
After the parade, head over to the CLS Courtyard for a relaxing Movie Night under the stars and dedication of 5th Grade's Legacy Project!
Bring your blankets and chairs
Enjoy time with friends and family
Light concessions available for purchase, hosted by the PTA

Congratulations Jeremiah Staley for being today's Loggerhead Leader of the Day! Jeremiah shows up daily with a smile on his face ready to work towards accomplishing his goals. He does an incredible job including others and makes sure to have a lot of fun!

We proudly recognize Jeremy Gonzalez Quintero as our Loggerhead Leader of the Day! Jeremy shows kindness and humor in everything he does, making sure everyone feels included. His All-State Band recognition highlights his hard work and talent.


The Little Lewie’s Cove Extended Day Program wrapped up the year with a wild celebration! Students and Staff had a great time as they “Go Wild for Little Lewie’s Cove” and ROARed into summer with fun, games, and memories to last through the break! Thank you to all the Teachers and Counselors that make this program so special!

Tacos, Nachos, and No Lunch Duty?! CLS and PTA showed educators a double serving of appreciation this afternoon!

Our Monday Loggerhead Leader of the Day comes from 6th grade: Jaylen Williams! Mr. Williams is a shining star in the classroom. He constantly finds ways to lift others up, is incredibly hardworking, and respectful to everyone he meets!
