Last week was Read Across America week and all of our Cainhoy students were able to listen to 2 stories read by Philip Simmons High football players. We love when PSH comes to visit and we are always so thankful when they take time out of their day to share a love of reading.

Save the date! Math Night is next Thursday, March 21st from 5:00-7:00. Bring the family out and have dinner, play games, win prizes, and take home lots of math resources. We are having a class competition to see which class will have the most participation! We hope to see everyone there.

We want to take a minute to celebrate Mr. Edward McNeil as Cainhoy Elementary's 2024 Teacher of the Year. Mr. McNeil is a Cainhoy alum and we have enjoyed having him back in the CHE community teaching 5th grade this year. Mr. McNeil has been an amazing addition to our CHE family. He goes above and beyond for our students and fosters a true love of learning each and every day. Thank you Mr. McNeil, we are beyond thankful for you!
